International Information

Transport

Air - London has six international airports. If you are flying into London to attend the Medical Imaging Convention we recommend using London City Airport as it is less than a mile from the venue.

From London City Airport, it takes just 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes by DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to get to ExCeL. The airport has 350 flights per day, from over 40 international destinations including Amsterdam, Dublin, Madrid, Nice, Frankfurt, Rome and Zurich.

Train - Eurostar operates regular train services to and from between Brussels, Paris, and St Pancras International, London. St Pancras International is then a 32 min tube ride directly to the venue (ExCeL, London).

Accommodation

ExCeL London has seven on-site hotels, ranging from budget to luxury, offering 1,600 rooms between them. You'll also find a further 10,000 rooms within 20 minutes of the venue. FAQ’s

Is there a Bureau de change?
There is a shop on level 0 at the bottom of the stairs near N4/S4 which sells a range of stationery items and has its own Bureau de Change.

Does the venue have a foreign currency ATM?
There is a Travelex ATM by the S11 entrance on the boulevard.

Is there WiFi at the venue?
There are two WiFi options within the venue: ExCeL FREE or ExCeL Free fast. You can log in using your social media accounts or by directly by filling in your details.

What are the event opening hours?
The Medical Imaging Convention is open from 10am to 5pm on the 6th and 7th June 2018. There are café facilities available at and around the venue prior to this.

Is there anywhere I can leave luggage?
The venue has two on-site cloakrooms, these is located on level 0 at either end of the ExCeL. The fee is £1.00 per items for coats and luggage. Please be aware you cannot leave laptops, cameras or electrical equipment in these cloakrooms.
