Senthil Periaswamy, PhD
Dr. Senthil Periaswamy is Vice President of iCAD Inc., where he heads the research team. He has been with iCAD since 2007. Dr. Periaswamy completed his PhD in 2003 from Dartmouth College, with a focus on computer vision and applications in medical imaging. After graduation, he worked as a Staff Scientist for Siemens Medical Solutions in the Computer Aided Diagnosis group from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Periaswamy has been involved in the research, development and design of reader studies for various commercial CAD products, including Lung, Colon, Prostate, and Breast, as well as various workflow improvement tools in the medical domain. His passion is to apply mathematics and algorithms to create real world solutions that help doctors.
