Diagnostic networks in healthcare bring professionals together to improve diagnostic services across disciplines to ensure patients have the right test at the right time and provide high quality services.
Across Greater Manchester, which is home to two of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in England, the Diagnostics Network is going from strength to strength. Having only been established since 2021, the Network has brought in over £24million in funding for key projects such as a GM wide PACS implementation, digital pathology and a LIMS replacement for four Trusts.
In this talk, Katie Moss will discuss the network maturity, the successes of the key projects as well as what’s next for the Network as it moves towards more collaboration with the Integrated Care System and the future innovations.
