Chloe Knowles is a Senior Laboratory Workflow Optimization Consultant with Leica Biosystems. She has 10 years’ experience of working in Histopathology laboratories, and now works with Leica Biosystems as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to support laboratories to find efficiencies in their current state workflows to help achieve their goals and objectives. Chloe has previously worked for the National Pathology Imaging Cooperative (NPIC) as their Laboratory Lead, working with over 30 hospitals in the UK to implement digital pathology for primary diagnosis. Chloe has won awards for her work in digital pathology and has published articles on successfully implementing digital pathology and ISO 15189 accreditation.
