Daniel holds the role of Business Director, responsible for the UK & Ireland at Gleamer AI. His work at Gleamer focuses on development and roll-out of Gleamer across the NHS, as well as further development of their AI through research with academic institutions across the UK. Gleamer’s AI is used in clinical practice in a number of locations across the NHS, today covering a population of over 5.5m patients.
Daniel's studies include an MSc in Data Science at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in healthcare and medical informatics. He continues his studies today, with research interests focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in imaging, development of novel technologies and also investigating the potential of machine learning in facilitating the early diagnosis of chronic conditions using certain biomarkers.
He is a huge advocate of ethical AI adoption and is deeply committed to ensuring the safe and effective adoption of AI into the global healthcare landscape and believes leveraging this transformative technology is one of many ways to bridge the ever-increasing demand-supply gap in healthcare.
