Professor of Pathology and Deputy Vice Principal (Health) at Queen Mary University London, Jo has extensive clinical and leadership experience, including as Board Director of Barts Health NHS Trust, National Clinical Director of Pathology NHS England, President of the Royal College of Pathologists, and she is currently NHS England National Specialty Advisor for Pathology.

Jo’s clinical expertise is in the pathology of gastrointestinal motility disorders.

A founder of Biomoti, for cancer therapy, she also created award winning eCPD app and developed and leads the Pathology Portal international learning programme for RCPath and NHSE Technology Enhanced Learning.
