Associate Professor in Diagnostic Radiography, University of Suffolk
Dr Jane Harvey-Lloyd is an Associate Professor in the School of Health and Sports Sciences at the University of Suffolk. She originally practised as a diagnostic radiographer in a range of roles before moving into Higher Education where she has been integral to the development of a range undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She is currently the lead for postgraduate programme development in radiography and the Course Leader for the PGC Advanced Practice and Reporting in Computed Tomography Colonography. Jane completed her PhD at the University of Brighton in 2018 which was entitled ‘Being and Becoming a Diagnostic Radiographer. Her doctorate explored the transition of newly qualified radiographers in their first 12 months following graduation. She prides herself as being an advocate for students and her primary passion is to improve the experience of both students and patients.
